If you have not already logged onto uniFLOW Online, please ensure that you do this first as you will need your 4-digit PIN code. You can find more information on that in the "Finding your PIN" article.
Step 1: This is the main log on screen for the new printers, as you can see it will ask you to tap your ID card onto the card reader. The first time you do this you’ll need to ‘link’ your ID card and uniFLOW account together using steps 2 and 3 in this guide. If the printer screen is off, just tap on the screen to wake the printer up.
Step 2: Tap your ID card on the card reader of the printer, it will give you a short beep to confirm it has read it. The screen on the printer will then change to ask you for a PIN code on first use.
Step 3: Enter the 4-digit PIN code that the uniFLOW system emailed you earlier (or that you accessed via the Printing Portal) into the box using the number keys. This is an assigned PIN code – you cannot choose your own.
Once you have entered the PIN code, press the ‘Login’ button.
Step 4: You are now logged into the printer under your account. As before, you have access to:
Copy – for traditional photocopying options.
Secure Print – this is where you’ll tap to release jobs printed from your device (see step 5).
Scan – to scan documents in, these will be emailed to you once you have finished.
Step 5: The ‘Secure Print’ option will show you all of the jobs that you have sent to uniFLOW from printing so that you can release these. The next step covers in more detail what you can do with these jobs.
Step 6: You have a number of options of how to handle your queued print jobs. You can:
Print + Keep – this will print your job, but keep it in your jobs available list.
Print + Delete (most popular) – this will release your job and take it off your jobs available list.
Delete – this will remove the job from your available list.
Select all – this will enable you to perform an action in bulk to all of the jobs in the list.
If you have any problems with your printing account or getting your ID card connected with your uniFLOW account, please raise a ticket with the support team and we will be happy to help.
