In order to assist our team to pinpoint issues in connecting to certain services we may ask you to run a 'traceroute' which will give us an insight into how your device is connecting to specific servers.
- Launch the 'Terminal' app on your Mac. This is installed as part of the operating system, so will be available on all Mac devices. The app is located under Applications > Utilities > Terminal.
- This will launch a pop up box where you will be able to type commands, you can then enter: traceroute example.com
- Press 'Enter' on your keyboard, and send the results to our team in your support ticket.
