In order to assist our team to pinpoint issues in connecting to certain services we may ask you to run a 'traceroute' which will give us an insight into how your device is connecting to specific servers.

  1. Launch the 'Terminal' app on your Mac. This is installed as part of the operating system, so will be available on all Mac devices. The app is located under Applications > Utilities > Terminal.

  2. This will launch a pop up box where you will be able to type commands, you can then enter: traceroute example.com

  3. Press 'Enter' on your keyboard, and send the results to our team in your support ticket.
