How do I set-up Email Forwarding?

To set up Email Forwarding, such as the email address automatically directs incoming messages to another desired email address.

 

  1. Make sure that you're logged into 'My Black Owl'.
     
  2. Select the hosting package that you want to apply the Email Forwarding and click on 'Manage'.
     
  3. From the list of available functions, choose 'Email Forwarders' under the 'Email' heading.
     
  4. Enter the information required for the autoresponder and select 'Add Forwarder'.
     
  5. To check your email redirect has applied, scroll down and see it in the list of 'Modify Email Forwarder'

 

 

Please be aware that if you redirect mail elsewhere, and do not have a mailbox at Black Owl Hosting, we will be unable to support any problems beyond the redirection.

 

All done! Your incoming emails will be forwarded to your desired email address.  Please note that it may take up to 30 minutes for the Email Forwarder to activate.
