What is a CDN?

A CDN (Content Delivery Network) enables your website load quickly, wherever your users are across the globe. It includes a suite of speed-boosting tools and features that will accelerate your website. Every Black Owl Hosting account receives access to the CDN with no further cost.

Where are your CDN 'Nodes' located?

A node is simply a server(s) physically located in another country that serves a copy of your website. As these nodes (servers) are geographically closer to users in other countries, it enables your website to load quicker than it might otherwise.

Origin Servers

Your 'origin server' is where your website is primarily stored and served from. All Black Owl hosting is currently based in the United Kingdom.
